What is the DMC

Air Traffic

There is a hub airport for Northeast Asia near DMC.

DMC is located at a very important strategic point for various means of transportation including air, traffic, subway, and canal, since it is only a half an hour's drive from Incheon International Airport, which is fast becoming a hub for air traffic in Northeast Asia.

Air Traffic

Air Traffic: Once the second phase of construction is completed by 2020, the airport will be able to land large airliners over 530,000 times annually; this means that it will transport over 100 million passengers and 7 million tons of imported & exported goods.

Banghwa-daegyo (bridge)

Incheon International Airport (13,770 acres), located in Yeongjong Island near Incheon, started operations in March 2001. A mere 41km away from DMC, it enables linking DMC, an information media complex, with markets in Northeast Asia (with total population of 1.7 billion), which are only two hours away.

One can take the Incheon International Airport Highway from Banghwa-daegyo (bridge), which is very near DMC. The highway will be controlled to allow only cars going to the airport, ensuring that airline passengers catch their flights. Preparations are also being made for the construction of the New Airport Expressway and high-speed railroad, which will make DMC's geographical location even more convenient. This way, DMC, a hi-tech information city, will play a definite role as a forward base in making forays into various parts of the world through Incheon International Airport.

Network of Roads

DMC is easily accessible from a network of roads linking it to the other parts of the nation.

Network of Roads map

DMC is 7 km away from Seoul City Hall, lying between Yeouido and Ilsan where broadcasting companies are located and between Gangnam (south of the river) and Incheon International Airport.

It can be reached in 10 minutes from Yeouido, Gimpo Airport, and metropolis and from Incheon Airport in 30 minutes via the New Airport Expressway.

Sungnyemun Gate, daegyo

DMC is linked to Jayu-ro (10 lanes) and Gangbyeon expressways (8 lanes); one can readily take the Olympic Expressway or Hangangdaegyo to go to the southern part of Seoul.

DMC is conveniently linked with all parts of Seoul through the subway network.

Subway map

DMC is 5~10 minutes away from DMC station. It is accessible from anywhere in Seoul by subway. Thus, going to the northeastern part of Seoul, metropolis, or northwestern part takes less than 70 minutes via subway from the DMC station. One can transit to other modes of transportation such as airport, highway, and railway.

DMC range

New Airport Railroad

DMC will see a new high-speed railroad pass through it, linking Incheon Airport and Seoul Railroad Station.

New Airport Railroad

The train to Incheon Airport is twice as fast as the existing railway. Since it takes only 40 minutes from Incheon Airport to Seoul Station, the lives of employees of DMC companies will be dramatically enhanced.
In addition, once the express train is built, Incheon Airport will be the hub airport of Northeast Asia and a gateway to the world.
If every line of Incheon Airport railway is constructed at 7 out of the 10 stops from Incheon Airport to Seoul Station, one will be able to change to subway or train; thus enjoying easier access to DMC.

Tech Seoul-Shineuiju Railroad

Gyeongui Train

Gyeongui Train from Seoul to Shinuiju will pass through the Trans China Railway (TCR) and Trans Mongolia Railway (TMGR). TCR goes via Dandong - Beijing - Xuzhou - Zhengshou and Almada Druzba - Moscow - Berlin and finally arrives in France (total of 12,971 km).

China Railway,Trans-Manchurian Railway

DMC presents a new vision for Northeast Asian logistics through Gyeongui Train.

In addition, TMGR goes through Dandong - Beijing - Ulaanbaatar - Ulan-Ude and meets with the Siberian Railway and Moscow before finally arriving in Paris. Thus, the Seoul-Shinuiju Train (Gyeongeui Train; total of 499 km) is like an artery connecting the two Koreas and will be the starting point of a continental train network that goes to Eurasia.
